On Sunday, October 11, 2009, we held our annual Blessing of the Beasts. Although wet weather kept us indoors, plenty of two and four-legged critters alike showed up, including quite a few dogs, one very well behaved cat, and a couple of box turtles. As part of the service, the congregation sang All God's Critters Got a Place in the Choir; and Lonnie Gamble and Bill Oertel, Sr. presented a duet of the Gaither favorite Old Friends.                                 |
